Tilting mounts

Tilting mounts are used for TVs and monitors to allow vertical adjustment of the screen while keeping the device securely mounted close to the wall. These mounts provide a simple tilting motion, usually enabling the TV to be tilted up or down to improve the viewing angle. Here’s when and where tilting mounts are commonly used:
When to use:
  1. Reducing glare: Tilting mounts are ideal if you want to reduce glare from windows or lights by adjusting the angle of the TV.
  2. Mounted high on the wall: If the TV is mounted above eye level (e.g., above a fireplace or high on the wall), a tilting mount allows you to angle the screen downwards for better viewing comfort.
  3. Limited space behind the TV: Unlike full-motion mounts, tilting mounts keep the TV close to the wall, which is useful when you want a slim profile but still need some adjustability.
  4. Improved ergonomics: Tilting the TV downwards can provide a more natural viewing angle, reducing neck strain, especially if the screen is placed higher than normal viewing height.
Where to use:
  1. Living rooms: In living rooms where the TV might be placed above a fireplace or mounted on a high wall, tilting mounts allow viewers to adjust the screen for a better viewing experience.
  2. Bedrooms: If the TV is placed higher on the wall in a bedroom, a tilting mount lets you angle it downward for comfortable viewing while lying in bed.
  3. Offices and meeting rooms: Tilting mounts are used in offices to provide a slight angle adjustment for wall-mounted screens, ensuring clear visibility for presentations.
  4. Public spaces: In places like waiting rooms, gyms, or airports, where TVs are often mounted high on walls, tilting mounts allow for a downward adjustment, improving visibility for viewers below.
In short, tilting mounts are a great choice when you need a simple, space-saving solution that offers basic vertical angle adjustment for a better viewing experience.
